A few items we came across lately had us pondering whether the working class is on the verge of a moment like when Marie Antoinette apparently said, “Let them eat cake.” 

It takes a village

Often the above phrase is associated with raising young people well. For our purposes this week, it is a hearty congratulations to Drayton 150 Celebration organizers, who managed to pull off an event that will long be remembered.

A special day

Next Tuesday, Canadians will embark on a day off for Canada Day.
