Blessings supports students

Supporting mental health – Palmerston’s Blessings to You Centre recently donated $1,900 for the May Mental Health Day and the Games Club at Palmerston Public School. Student startups – The Blessings to You Centre in Palmerston feels strongly about supporting youth in a variety of ways. Centre volunteers Dale Hurlbut, left, and Mark Robinson, centre, recently presented a cheque to Town of Minto economic and community development director Belinda Wick-Graham to sponsor three Grade 6 to 12 student businesses in Minto through the Student Startup Program this summer. The Saugeen Connects Partnership, along with the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation, first launched the Student Startup Program in 2019. In 2022, the program supported 47 student businesses, including 14 from Minto. Submitted photos
