Arts council participates in art on the street

On July 18, Guelph Arts Council will again be co-ordinating the Information Kiosk at art on the street.

Providing information on area arts and heritage organizations, the booth will be staffed by Guelph Arts Council board and staff as well as volunteers from local groups.

The seventh annual art on the street is presented by the Downtown Guelph Business Association. It takes place on Quebec Street from 11am to 6pm.  It is free, and is an open-air art exhibition and sale, and will feature artists from across Ontario working in a broad range of media. There will be art, live music and more.

Also part of art on the street this year is the GJA Communications silent art auction featuring original art work created especially for the occasion by GJA creative directors, Bronwen Elson, Jordan Jocius, and Rajinder Sidhu. Proceeds are being donated to Guelph Arts Council.
