Arthur man faces several driving charges after stop

WIARTON – An Arthur man faces several charges after police alleged he was driving a vehicle with improper plates.

On Aug. 25, at 4:46 pm, a Grey Bruce OPP officer stopped a tan coloured SUV on Claude Street, near Frank Street, in Wiarton.

Police say the driver had a suspended licence and was prohibited from driving.

Gordon Gibson, 36, of Arthur, was charged with driving while prohibited, driving while suspended, using unauthorized plates and driving without insurance.

He is to appear in Owen Sound court on Nov. 19.
