LETTY, Evelyn Evelyn May Letty, formerly of Mount Forest, passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Letty. Loving mother of Loretta and her husband Lloyd Baker of Queensville and Karen and her husband Wayne Marshall of Caledon. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Baker and his wife Vicki, Steven Baker and his wife Andrea, Cherish and her husband Brandon Borman, Holly and her husband Michael Presswood and Laura and her husband Jessamy Castillo. Great-grandmother of Brianna, Curtis, Kylie, Brooke, Alicia, Paige, Tristan, Charlotte, Liam and Cassidy. Dear sister of Vietta Lamont and Mabel Hardy. Sister-in-law of Marj Eccles, Doris Eccles and Barbara Eccles. Predeceased by her brothers; Earl Eccles, Arthur Eccles and his late wife June, Brownie Eccles and his late wife Sheila, George Eccles and Percy Eccles and his late wife Mila, her sisters; Mary and her late husband Thomas Hamilton and Ella and her late husband Albert Casey and her brothers-in-law; Bill Lamont and Robert Hardy. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held at the Mount Forest Legion on Saturday, July 22nd at 12 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
