Longstreet, George Winston; Peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Monday, June 11, 2012. George Longstreet of Acton, formerly of Erin in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Razon) for 20 years. Loving father of Colleen and her husband Doug Lucas of Elora, Scott and his partner Jess Peterson of Orangeville, Jason and his wife Jennifer Codlin of Grand Valley and Jeff Longstreet of Acton. He will be missed by his granddaughters Emma and Avery. Fondly remembered by Virginia’s family in Canada and the Philippines. A Memorial Service will take place at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main St. S, Erin on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00am. Visitation will be for one hour prior to service time. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
