The Erin District High School senior boys varsity hockey team are 2017 Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association (CWOSSA) champions. The Raiders won their final game 4-1 at the championships in Owen Sound on March 7.

There may not be snakes to drive out here, but the Town of Erin is getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day. The Busholme in Erin is one of several establishments across Wellington County hosting St. Paddy’s Day events. Owner Nicolle Weston and staff members Julie Chemij and Steph Hartley display the beer de jour: Ireland’s Guinness. Erin is hosting a three-day celebration March 17 to 19 that includes an upsidedown sale at local shops and Erin Paddy FEASTival at restaurants and eateries in the town.

ERIN - Wellington County OPP received a report of a break and enter to a home on 6th Line in Erin that occurred between March 7 and 107.

12th Annual Lasagna Dinner a Great Success for 242 Air Cadets

ERIN - On Feb. 11 just over 190 people enjoyed Lasagna created by Fergies Fine Foods at the 12th Annual Fundraiser for cadet activities.
