Knitting for Guatemala

Heritage River resident Bernice Burns (seated) has been busy, having knit 11 blankets for the Infants in Guatemala project. Elora residents, in back from left, Karen Chaput and Deb Limoges, will be travelling to Guatemala with a team of 19 on April 28, to participate in a 10-day medical and build project. The team will provide medical care, feeding programs and help build homes for people in remote villages. The women have been collecting donated supplies of basic necessities. Burns’ hand-crafted blankets are an appreciated donation.  submitted photo
