Search begins for new Puslinch CAO

by Mike Robinson

ABERFOYLE

Bill Winegard will be helping Puslinch council in the search for a new CAO.

Last month, CAO/clerk Brenda Law announced her resignation following 35 years of services to the municipality.

Her resignation is effective as of Jan. 1, 2013.

Following an in-camera meeting on Oct. 3, Mayor Dennis Lever announced that Winegard had been engaged to help the township in its search for a new CAO.

Locally, Winegard assisted both the towns of Minto and Erin in their respective CAO searches.

Lever noted that because of the time required for such a search, he anticipated it would probably be February or March before a replacement is in place.
