Gazzola named chairman

GUELPH

Trustees with the Wellington Catholic District School Board have elected a chairman and vice-chairman for the coming year.

Returning again as chairman is Marino Gazzola, who was uncontested in the process.

He has been a trustee for the past 22 years and is also currently the vice-president of the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association.

He is joined by Victoria Dupuis, who was elected as vice-chairman. She has served as trustee for 18 years and is the current chairman of the board’s policy and program committee.

At the same meeting, Anita Cazzola, a senior student at St. James Catholic High School was presented with her award winning Advent graphic, which has been distributed to all schools and offices in the district.
