Barrel racing event in town Aug. 20, 21

FERGUS - Riverview Stable here is once again hosting an Ontario Barrel Racing Association (OBRA) sanctioned event this month.

The event will take place Aug. 20 and 21 and will once again welcome some of the best barrel racers in the province.

Last year, there were 82 competitors and horses and organizers expect more this year.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated  to Walk It Off Spinal Cord Recovery and Wellness Centre.

Riverview Stables is located on County Road 18, right off of County Road 29. From Fergus, take Belsyde Avenue towards Belwood, go past the community centre, past County  Road 29, and it is the first farm on the right. The emergency number of 8115.
