11th annual active living and retirement show on March 23

FERGUS - Get ready as the Victoria Park Seniors Centre presents the 11th annual Active Living and Retirement Show on March 23 fron 10am to 2pm.

The event is at the sportsplex in Fergus and admission is free - all ages welcome.

There are door prizes, grab bags and free refreshments. In addition, there are free chair massages, fitness demos/seminars and fascial stretching.

See more than 50 exhibitors representing: health and wellness, fitness, recreation, travel, support services, housing, finance and volunteering.

The show will also include scheduled events:

- 10:15am - Zumba Gold Toning;

- 10:30am - seminar:  Wills, Powers of Attorneys and Living Wills;

- 11am - all around fitness;

- 11:45am - move with ease;

- 11:45am - seminar: Get Your Money - Understanding Ontario’s Tax Credits and Benefits by the Ministry of Finance;

- 12:30pm - tap dancing and belly dancing;

1:00pm - seminar: Frauds and Scams presented by the OPP; and

1:15pm - body and brain fitness.

This event hosted by Victoria Park Seniors Centre in partnership with the Older Adults Centres Association of Ontario (OACAO) and it is sponsored by the Ministry of Seniors Affairs.
