Officials meet with MPPs

TORONTO - Mayor Neil Driscoll and councillors Michael Martin and Dennis Craven attended the Ontario Good Roads Association annual conference on Feb. 26.

They were invited to a delegation with MPP Randy Pettapiece and MPP Ernie Hardeman to discuss Mapleton’s wastewater plant expansion.

“The meeting was very productive, and several topics were discussed including future government funding,” states a township press release.

The township will follow up with both levels of government to explore future grant possibilities, said the release.
