Norm Foster play at Elmira Theatre Company

ELMIRA - Norm Foster’s On a First Name Basis is on stage at the Elmira Theatre Company until Feb. 17.

David Kilbride (played  by Gord Cameron) suddenly comes to the realization that he knows nothing about his employee - he doesn’t know her first name. He has employed her for over 28 years as his housekeeper but he knows her only as Miss Hopperstaad (played by Debbie Deckert.)  He decides to remedy that by inviting her to share a scotch and have a bit of a chat. He ends up asking her to her share her life story.  Two or three drinks later, they really begin to talk. That’s when the audience realizes both characters have a secret.

Tickets are $20 and are available at 519-578-1570 or 1-800-265-8977 or

The Elmira Theatre Company is offering a special Valentine’s Day deal for Feb. 15 when tickets are $15 each.
