Everton collects for Operation Christmas Child

EVERTON - The Everton Community Church has once again taken on the Operation Christmas Child project.

Created by Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian humanitarian organization, Operation Christmas Child asks people to fill a shoebox with items such a game, a comb, a toothbrush, soap, school supplies, a toy, a puzzle, a toy ball or a small doll, plus anything that the donor can fit into the shoebox.

Donors can drop off completed shoeboxes at the Everton Community Church on Nov. 13, 15 and 17 between 5 and 8pm. For more information contact Beryl McDougall at 519-856-9603, or pack a shoebox online at www.samaritanspurse.ca/occ.
