Bocce ball fun

North Wellington Bocce Blasters wrapped up their bocce ball season at Murphy Park in Mount Forest on Aug. 28. The group meets Monday evenings in the summer for some great competition, fun and a Walk for Fitness program on the walking trail in Murphy Park. The athletes involved are from Arthur, Harriston, Palmerston and Mount Forest. This year there was a tie for most games won, with Sarah Orth and Lewis Cremasco each winning 10 games. In second place was Carol-Ann Holliday with nine wins and in third place Mandy Hunter with eight wins. For more information visit www.nw-bravehearts.com.
