Food for thought

ORTON - Mimosa United Church is hosting a series of films and lectures on the great geographical sites from around the world, hosted by Rev. Jeff Davison.

The lectures will take place at Mimosa United Church at 5980 Wellington Road 26.

A full course dinner will be served before the lecture, provided by the UCW of Mimosa United Church.

Dinner will be served at 6:30pm and the lecture will take place from 7:30 to 8:30pm.

A free will offering will be taken.

All contributions will go to the church functions and community.

The lecture dates include:

- April 22: The Himalayas and The Ganges Delta;

- April 29: Mammoth Cave and Cave of  Crystals;

- May 6: Uluru/Ayers Rock and Devils Tower; and

- May 13: Sand Mountains  and the Siwi Oasis.

People are encouraged to attend as many lectures as they can.

Register a few days in advance of each lecture to ensure adequate dinners are prepared.
