Wellington contestants in Miss Mid West pageant

WALKERTON - Six Wellington County youths will join 35 other contestants in the Ontario Miss Mid West and Princess Pageant on July 12.

Local residents participating include: Kathleen Ferris and Shaylene Langille, sponsored by the Harriston-Minto Agricultural Society; Samantha Binkley, sponsored by the Arthur Agricultural Society; Jessica Schill and Krystal Koepke, sponsored by the Palmerston Agricultural Society and Krista Frazer, sponsored by the Fergus Agricultural Society.

Rachel Anstett, 2013-14 Ontario Miss Mid West Queen and Shaelyn Thompson, of Harriston, 2013-14 Ontario Little Miss Princess will be passing on their crowns at the event, starting at 6:30pm at the Walkerton Community Centre. Tickets are available at the door.
