Correction

An article in the Dec. 16 Advertiser about a local road watch group starting in Minto incorrectly identified Don Senek as the chairman of Road Watch Canada.

Senek is in fact chairman of Minto’s Safe Community Committee (formerly known as the Community Oriented Policing Strategy committee).

The article also implied the town had to pay $100 to join a new Road Watch group, but Senek said his committee is not asking the municipality to fund the project. The Advertiser regrets the errors.
