Erins amalgamation amendment order locatedby Mike Robinson ERIN - Clerk Kathryn Ironmonger noted the town was recently dealing with an issue that required finding the town’s amalgamation order. The issue involved tracking down amendments of that order as it affected Village of Erin and Erin Township bylaws. “That information for some reason was not readily available,” Ironmonger said. As a result, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing was requested to locate the order. On Nov. 1, the town received a copy of it. “It’s not what Lisa [Hass], Sharon [Marshall] or I remember ever seeing. There was a private member’s bill.” “We were getting a little nervous,” Ironmonger said. “We now have the document we could not locate.”
